Oklahoma man taken into custody for DWI after fast turn

A 35-year-old man was taken into custody on Aug. 16 after officers observed him making a turn onto the wrong lane northbound on Mission Street in Sapulpa. Police say that an officer observed the man's Jeep Grand Cherokee make the turn at high speed around 10:58 p.m. The officer initiated a traffic stop on Cleveland Street.

Woman charged with DUI following high-speed chase

A 27-year-old woman who led troopers on a high-speed chase during rush hour was driving under the influence of alcohol, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. She is now scheduled to appear in court to answer to numerous charges including DUI, speeding, eluding police and transporting an open container. The woman was also charged with not having her driver's license with her when she was stopped.

Driver accused of crashing into police cars charged with DUI

Oklahoma police say that a driver hit two city police cruisers on Aug. 7 while traveling on Lake Hefner Parkway near Britton Road. The incident occurred right before midnight as the cops were helping direct traffic around an earlier crash.

Officials detain Oklahoma man on DUI charges after crash

On Aug. 3, police detained a 33-year-old man on suspicion of drunk driving after he allegedly struck multiple vehicles at an Oklahoma City drive-in movie theater. Reports indicated that one individual was injured in the incident which reportedly transpired on Western Avenue at around 1:15 a.m.
